Swedish Rite

The Swedish Rite is an 11-degree Masonic system practiced mainly in Sweden and the Nordic countries, open only to Christians and closely linked to the Swedish Royal Family. It features slow, progressive advancement, unique rituals, and separate lodge rooms for each degree. Esoterically, the Rite emphasizes Christian mysticism, Templar and Rosicrucian symbolism, and personal spiritual development through individual examinations and ritual work.
